Beautiful Australia Natives on soft tones. Native Australian flowers are some of my most favourite flowers (aside to Peonies of coarse!). This made this particular invite so fun to do! Working with the large Proteas and various foliage to frame the information and create a set which follows through without going OTT.
The soft colouring is perfect for modern weddings, coupled with the on-trend natives.
"You really did make the whole process of creating our wedding Invitations easy and enjoyable. You demonstrated such flexibility with design changes to suit what we wanted and the result is better than we imagined. We really appreciate your quick responses, service delivered, and timeliness of the process. From the initial consultation, right through the design process, to having our Wedding invitations delivered with such care. Everything was perfect.
Thank you for your time, effort, creativity and care taken to bring our wedding to life. We simply loved it. "
Liz + Alex
This is one of my favourite wedding invitations ever! Liz and Alex gave me the freedom to create something great, and the time to let the idea expand and mould itself into something that would really suit their wedding and speak to their personality.
Wanting to keep things really organic and original, I decided that hand drawn illustrations of both the ceremony venue and the reception venue would add the perfect touch to make this invite feel completely original and theirs.
"Absolutely love my invites! Nicola listened to my very minimal ideas and somehow read my mind by making the most perfect invitations ever! Her hand illustrations made them so unique, and her calm presence made a usually very stressful time a breeze."

One of my more recent invitation sets, this one again uses the beautiful Australian natives of the bouquets on the wedding day. Soft shades of maroon to dark pinks, coupled with the gorgeous translucent vellum - and shimmer cream envelopes - create a contemporary, but county native feel that sets the mood for the day to come.

This beautiful natural feel invitation is one of my most popular designs. Featuring gorgeous watercolour Dollar Eucalyptus greenery, this design is an easy answer to set the scene for your contemporary Australian wedding, without giving too much away.
Rustic textured card, environmental envelopes and simple packaging twine, mixed with the array of greens - featured in the watercolour painting - creates a calming, classic and sophisticated colour pallet.
"Nicola was amazing to deal with! I had an idea of what I wanted and Nicola made it even better than expected. Thank you so much Nicola, we LOVE our invitations and can't wait to send them out!"

Luke and Amy were such a lovely couple to work with. They came to me with the idea of their symbol, which was a love heart made up of their initials, like a modern twist on the classic wedding monogram. I was then able to blend it into a design which created a beautifully simple and classic invitation, which was indicative of their coastal wedding.
We then extended the design throughout the wedding day items such as place cards, menus, a welcome sign and seating chart. Finally completing the set with a simple thank you card featuring one of their favourite photos from the day!

By far my most original design, this invite was created with one of the brides cute cartoons, making it so very personal and extremely unique in exactly the right way.
I was able to extend the feel of the cartoon by adding touches of who they are and the destination of their wedding, to help create an invite that supported and celebrated the love and inspiration behind original cartoon.

Delicate and whimsical, this soft toned invitation featuring babies breath is a gorgeous, modern ‘non conforming’ invitation that suits many styles of weddings and personalities.
Latte coloured envelopes and grey secondary card complete the set.
This invite demonstrates an easy way to reduce cost and bulk with a double sided RSVP, wishing well and information card.

I adore creating invites which don't need loud colour and pattern to make a statement. This invite is a perfect example of that. The beautiful typography did all the work. Lovely cream cotton stock and charcoal ink speak volumes in terms of sophisticated simplicity. Coupled with a gorgeous latte stock envelope, this sophisticated and simple invite was the perfect precursor to their modern-vintage ceremony.
"So in love with our invitations! Nicola was amazing throughout the whole process. I didn't really know what I wanted so I showed her a few completely different Pinterest photos and she came back with a design that we both loved! I also had a few changes to make regarding times after we had agreed on a final invite, and it wasn't too much trouble for her to change it for me. Everything was express posted to me and perfect! She's amazing! I will definitely be ordering again!!"
